Innovative solutions & valuable resources
At EWC, we actively purchase a wide range of valuable resources from commercial producers. Each has different volume thresholds, quality expectations, and pricing structures. We can confirm this at the enquiry stage based on your specific material and volume.
The type of waste we can recycle includes:
- Cardboard
- Mixed paper
- Expanded Polystyrene (EPS)
- PP Sacks
- Strapping
- Plastics
- Aluminium cans
Sustainable solutions from EWC
Selling material to EWC is a simple three-stage process. The goal is to make it as straightforward as possible for producers who’ve never sold their recyclable waste before. Here’s how it works:
- Enquiry – Tell us what material you produce, roughly how much per week or month, and how it’s currently stored. We’ll let you know if there’s a deal to be done and what we’d need to see to confirm pricing.
- Site survey & sampling – Our team can visit your site to check material quality, volumes, and segregation. We’ll recommend any improvements that would unlock better pricing. There’s no obligation to go with us, and there’s no hard sell. We’re there to help!
- Deal & collection – We’ll agree on a price and collection schedule. Within our own collection area, material is collected by EWC’s own fleet. For sites further afield, we’ll arrange and manage the collection. Loads are weighed on the weighbridge, and payment is processed against the agreed pricing structure.
Sell to a licensed, permitted operator
Producers selling recyclable material need confidence that it’s going to a properly permitted operator, both for their own Duty of Care compliance and because regulatory non-compliance can come back on the original waste producer. At EWC, we operate under full UK environmental permits, with documentation supplied as standard.
Environment Agency Permit
EWC’s recycling solutions services operate under an Environment Agency permit (CBDU158060).
Waste Carrier Licence
EWC is a registered upper-tier waste carrier.
Weighbridge tickets & transfer notes
Every collection comes with weighbridge tickets and proper Waste Transfer Notes – exactly what you need for your Duty of Care records.
Triple ISO accreditation
ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental) and ISO 45001 (Health & Safety). Procurement-grade accreditation, available on our Compliance page.
