Environmental Waste Controls Ltd are pleased to announce that we have increased our number of partnerships with the NHS by winning the competitive tender for the domestic and recyclable waste contract for Wrightington, Wigan & Leigh Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Along with providing waste equipment to the Trust, we will also be providing the transport and disposal for all domestic/general waste and recyclable material.
We are really glad we can continue to support our friends in the NHS whilst they keep us all safe.
EWC have recently renewed the waste contract with long-standing customer PAL Extrusions based in the West Midlands. After 18 years of working together, EWC will continue to provide a mixture of compactors & mill size balers ensuring the waste is contained and transported efficiently whilst all recyclable material is baled to a size where maximum rebate is achieved. The new contract will see us through the 20 year anniversary of working together, with hopefully a glass or 2 being raised at the time.
We have recently been successful in renewing our waste contract with Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. Supplying compaction equipment for both cardboard and offensive waste, we will also continue to provide transport & waste disposal services for the hospital.
EWC have recently renewed the waste contract with Kays Medical. Based in Merseyside, they are one of the country’s leading occupational health providers. Providing compaction to site has enabled them to reduce the number of waste collections required and ultimately also their carbon footprint.
EWC have recently supplied a portable compactor to Glazerite Window’s north west depot. A brand new customer to EWC, the supply of the compactor for the depot’s general waste will ensure a reduced a carbon footprint, reduced transport costs & a cleaner site.
EWC has worked for the Trust for many years and their dedication is evident in all aspects of the service delivery they provide. Throughout the pandemic, they have continued to provide an excellent service and worked closely with us to ensure our needs have been met. We hope this relationship will continue and thrive in the coming years.
