EWC is delighted to be working with a brand new customer, Aptus Utilities.
Aptus Utilities implements utility connections, including gas, water and electricity and work with local authorities and developers. Aptus was named in The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 in 2016 and again in 2017 and continues to be one of the fastest-growing businesses in the UK.
EWC has been appointed by Aptus to provide waste disposal services, compaction and equipment to their regional depots in the North of England.
Delicia Maxwell, HSQE Manager for Aptus Utilities commented:
“We are pleased to be working with Environmental Waste Controls (EWC), whose sophisticated model for waste disposal and recycling is supporting us in meeting our environmental objectives. EWC carried out a thorough assessment and provided an environmentally friendly solution that meets our waste management needs. The new compaction and baling equipment across our depots will help us reduce our carbon footprint, while their waste recycling management system ensures more of our materials are reused.”
Both Aptus and EWC see sustainability as a top priority and with the installation of our infrastructure, not only will the regional depots see reduced transport costs and emissions, the company will now be receiving maximum rebates for a large percentage of the waste they produce.
Welcome Aptus – we look forward to working together for years to come!
