Meet the team

GEORGE FLUDDER

MANAGING DIRECTOR

George has been with the company since 2003, beginning as an area supervisor and worked through various roles in the business and is now part owner of EWC as the Managing Director. The passion George has to expand the business is infectious, always putting a smile on everyones face. Primary goal is to ensure that the service provided to EWC customers is of the highest quality as well as continuing to provide versatile services/operations.

GARETH MARSHALL

OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Gareth has been with EWC for 8 years now, and looks after all of the national operations and ensuring that health and safety regulations are met as well as performance. Prior to coming to EWC, Gareth worked in a lot of other waste businesses but was excited by the forward-thinking aspect of the business. However, Gareth has become so obsessed with waste management… you might find him looking into bins whilst on holiday and finding out how people are recycling!

CHRIS DENHAM

FINANCE DIRECTOR

Chris joined the business back in 2013, and is now the Finance director and joint owner of the business alongside George. To quote Chris, he says his role is to “sort out everyone else’s mess” as he works on the problem solving side of the business and account management. His best advice is that recycling is not just about saving the environment, but it can also save (and sometimes make) money for your business, both big and small.

CLAIRE SKIDMORE

FINANCE MANAGER

Claire has been with the business for over 22 years, coming fresh from her University degree and is now our Finance Manager. She works closely alongside Chris, managing the day to day accounts. A fun fact about Claire is that she is a keen baker – which benefits the office greatly for birthdays!

STIRLING SCOTT

NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

Stirling has been with EWC since 2015, working through various roles with the company and is now the National Account Manager. Stirling ensures that all our customers are happy with the service being provided and when it comes to renewing contracts and confirming contracts – he will be on the phone!

DONNA PIERCE

HR MANAGER

Donna has been with us for 13 years helping the team with any HR and Personnel guidance, policy and of course making sure we all get paid on time! She also runs our quality and environmental compliance accreditation ensuring our objectives, practices and procedures stay on track.

ANDY DICKENSON

IT MANAGER

Andy came to EWC looking for the next step in his career from a support technician and was offered the IT Manager role over 8 years ago. He is the staff member everyone comes running to when there are any technical/network issues!

KIRSTY LUMB

TRANSPORT MANAGER

Kirsty has been working with EWC for 16 years now, and she keeps all the ‘lads’ in check both on and off site! As the Transport Manager, she ensures that the equipment is transported efficiently to the client and helps handle the new system operations.

IAN POWELL

ENGINEERING MANAGER

Ian started his career at EWC at one of our household waste sites, before working his way through various management roles over the last 11 years and is now our Engineering Manager. From new machinery to breakdown services, Ian is on hand to help!
